Be part of Waterways ensemble
Waterways is a new First Nations-led circus project in partnership with Flipside trainer and Indigenous arts leader/producer, Lara Croydon.
Waterways is a year-long project that will develop an ensemble of First Nations artists bringing them together to train and develop circus skills. This new ensemble will then work to create a new circus performance – Waterways.
Waterways is about the importance of water to First Nations people – it will interrogate its significance, its life force, and its journey to connect all our nations together through the spiderweb of freshwater and saltwater streams.
We are looking for some deadly young Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people between the ages of 12-25 who are keen to develop circus skills and tell stories on stage. You don’t need to have any previous circus experience to apply, we will teach you that on the way!
If you are keen to come along to the free workshop on Sunday 14 May to try circus and meet the team, simply fill in the form below.View Page
