Flipside has delivered community circus programs in 56 regional & remote communities over the last 5 years. These programs have strong support from local communities, venues and funding bodies, representing the company’s commitment to regional Australia – particularly in small & isolated communities.
Our workshops and residencies bring some of the world’s best circus artists and trainers to your community to work with local children and young people.
Flipside’s workshop programs culminate in show-and-tell performances which bring community members together. These residencies evolve as programs return over a number of visits, creating a legacy that empowers participants to tell their own stories for their own communities.
The programs are fun and challenging and focus on, building self-confidence, physical skills and fitness, trust, and teamwork. They can be tailored for individual communities and include:
• Short one-off fun introduction to circus workshops,
• Week-long residencies culminating in performance,
• Community activations, festivals, and events.
Flipside’s different programs can cater for children and young people aged 2 to 18 years (as well as offering tailored programs for adults and community groups.
