The Brisbane Circus Centre is supported by:
Your donation will help us create a specialist circus training and presentation space that will support over 35,000 children and young people, 1,000 artists, and will be visited by around 110,000 people each year.
The new circus centre will help Flipside deliver our core programs:
• Regular classes and training at the centre and right across Queensland (including around 10,000 young participants in regional and remote Queensland);
• An artistic program of performances by, for, and with young people;
• Community and social circus programs;
• Support for Queensland’s world-beating circus artists and independent companies.
The Brisbane Circus Centre is a unique, purpose-built circus space to support communities and Queensland’s circus artists.
Once complete, it will help us expand our programs, engage with communities, and support artists and companies.
Please contact our Philanthropy Coordinator at rebecca@flipsidecircus.org.au to discuss unique ways to collaborate.
Flipside Circus a great organisation teaching gymnastic skills in a fun and nurturing way. Taking in age groups from the very young to the fully grown, physical and mental confidence is encouraged and developed using circus performance skills and acts. This approach is particularly embraced by the youngest members (pre-high school). A great community atmosphere which embraces students, instructors, other staff, parents, family and friends. Highly recommended for children seeking something physically different and less competitive then other team sports.

It’s a great place, friendly staff and lots of good people about. I attend Adult classes at night and am really enjoying the culture. I’m doing things that I’ve never done before, especially from childhood. From a fitness and core perspective some nights can be intense, but they really cater well to the abilities of the class. My flexibility is woeful but I’m making greater progress than I have in years. A fun way to exercise! They live up to the values listed on their website and I feel they’ve got a lot of integrity.
I recommend it for everybody to at least try once.

Great venue for learning how to be part of a circus!!! The trainers are very friendly and excellent at working with kids of all ages and skills. The kids start off learning basic floor skills, tumbling, cartwheels, jumping, somersaults etc. They then start to learn more advanced skills like trapeze, silk/rope acrobatics, juggling and others. Great overall experience!!
