Fundraising events
Flipside runs a number of fundraising events throughout the year to support our community programs, work with regional and remote communities, improve our training programs and equipment, and develop new performances. We have three main fundraising events in 2020.
OUR 2018 FUNDRAISING PROGRAMS…
• Raised $20,000
• Featured almost 300 young performers;
• Were attended by over 1,000 people!

Flipside Circus Gala
Flipside Circus annual Gala is the circus night of nights featuring young artists from Flipside’s performance programs and some of the best artists from around Brisbane and around the world. Gala is a great night out for a great cause.

Community Show
The Community show is a Flipside tradition. Over the last 20 years over 1,000 young artists have taken risks, worked hard, and had fun creating a brand-new show for our Flipside community. The community show also raises funds for new circus equipment and our community programs.
The 2020 Community Show will take place in the September school holidays. Keep an eye out for more information.
Fiesta
Fiesta is a true celebration of circus and our community.
It is an open day where the whole Flipside family is invited. It’s an incredible showcase of our students’ skills and hard work over the year with short performances by the entire school – from our littlest circus play class right through to advanced and adult students – as well as stalls, food, trash and treasure, side-show activities.
This year’s Fiesta is scheduled for Sunday 29 November.
