Flipside runs a trainee program to help upcoming circus artists and teachers learn some of the skills they need to teach circus. Currently we have 7 trainees working in the program. Here is a little bit of background on Adam and Alex.

Adam Strom Adam has been part of Flipside Circus since 2002, that’s 9 years! He is currently part of the performance troupe. He has become a trainee trainer, helping in a range of classes. From the time Adam has been with us he has gone to Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Woodford Folk Festival. Adam is a great performer. When he performs you can tell he isn’t just doing it for the sake of it, he is performing because he loves it!
Alex Wecks-Hucks Alex has been a part of Flipside Circus for 5 years. He is currently part of the Flipside performance troupe and is also a trainee trainer and he is undertaking an entertainment technical traineeship. Alex has a lot of interest in the area of contortion. He can bend and make his body turn into pretty much any shape he wants. While Alex has been with Flipside Circus he has performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Woodford Folk Festival.
