The Reg Bolton Artist in Residence Program

Circus training and performance space is difficult to access throughout Australia. Flipside extends an invitation nationally to hear from small independent circus companies, individual performers as well as other art forms to participate in an artist in residency program here at our training centre in Brisbane.

Flipside Circus will offer development, rehearsal and performance space at the Flipside training centre. This will allow circus artists creative development time and the opportunity to engage and collaborate with other art forms.

The Reg Bolton Artist in Residence is open to:

• Small independent circus companies, individual performers as well as other art forms
• Artists over the age of 18 
• Artists of any nationality
• Emerging and Indigenous artists are encouraged to apply
• Applications are invited throughout the year

The artist must meet the essential selection criteria and provide the necessary support material.

• Sound (musicians and sound artists)

• Drawing
• Photography and film
