Scholarship Program
Flipside is grateful for the support received from the following amazing funding bodies and organisations. Your support encourages us and allows us to develop programs which engage children from diverse social and economic backgrounds.
Flipside is appreciative for the annual funding support from
Arts Queensland
through the s2m funding program.
Brisbane Powerhouse
provides Flipside Circus access to the theatre and professional performance opportunities.
Flipside is grateful for support from the
Talbot Family Foundation
for the Curlew Program (Children from refugee backgrounds).
Thanks to
Brisbane City Council
for their generous support to allow us to develop the ‘Unthink the Impossible Program’ (Children with Special Needs) and the Curlew Program (Children from Refugee Backgrounds Program).
On Call Children’s Therapy
is a unique organisation which is as passionate about circus for children with special needs as we are.
Together
Queensland Program of Assistance for Survivors of Torture and Trauma (QPASTT)
and Flipside are offering children who arrive in Australia as refugees an amazing and creative opportunity to engage with other students at their school. Making human pyramids, skipping, juggling and performing is our way of helping kids to resettle in this great country.
Become a member of our peak body,
Australian Circus & Physical Theatre Association (ACAPTA)
, and help support the growth and development of our sector on a National level.
Young People in the Arts Australia (YPAA)
is the Australian peak body for organisations and practitioners that engage children and young people in the arts. Flipside Circus is proudly a member of this great organisation.
Our relationship with Amanda director of Pnac is built on ‘circus changes the world’. With Amanda’s help Flipside has built a strong and engaging corporate team building program that offers adults an unforgettable and rewarding experience that supports workplace goals.
